Meet Anne
Anne Carpenter, self-proclaimed “Dream Weaver” set out to Sayulita, Mexico in 2017 with a goal: “Make Friends and Not Be Invisible”. In the sultry heat of the summer there were countless friends made, spicy new experiences, margaritas enjoyed, tacos devoured, and miles and miles of beauty discovered. Within, and without. The journey towards joy was underway.
The Story
Spending the next few years deepening the connection to the magic of Sayulita, Anne traveled from Canada to Sayulita regularly, and set the goal to move full-time before the end of 2019.
With much hard work, the mission was accomplished Dec 15, 2019. No one could have predicted that the pandemic would happen shortly thereafter and provide space and time to dream up Casa Fenix.
The idea for Casa Fenix rose out of a desire to create a space for women to rediscover their power and their joy-to rise again stronger from the weight of the past-and to create a life of truthful joy.
Today, we offer a quiet, beautiful space, walkable to all the fun the town and beach has to offer. Currently Casa Fenix has 5 suites that can sleep a total of 12 people in shared accommodations, along with the main suite for the facilitator. The gourmet kitchen, 3 cozy gathering areas and spectacular views are the perfect backdrop for new friends, new experiences, and growth.
Casa Fenix continues to be a labor of love, with plans to add a roof top yoga and gathering space, a spacious pool and more surprises over the coming years.
We’re booking NOW for the 2023/2024 season. Our beautiful group of friends include healers, yoga instructors, Spanish teachers, chefs, surf instructors, therapists and so much more. Casa Fenix and Sayulita’s magic makes anything possible.
